OK so I love my photographer and have signed a contract for both photography and video...but I want to cancel the video because i love and adore someone elses work.
Is this possible to do? how do you do this?

hmmm....i would think it is possible to do, i'm not sure though, they might have a certain policy about that. do u remember anything like that when you signed with them??

no I guess I have to look at my contract but we only put down $700
I mean I can call and ask about the policy or look on the contract but I was wondering if anyone has done this before.

i know my plave said at the time i didtn even have to book video right sway so ... you may be able to cancel just video ... i dont see why they wouldnt allow you too ... they have plenty of time to book the date!!

DO I call up and say I would like to cancel the video....by the way FH has no clue. Im doing it without him but we arent paying for the change anyway.
I just hope I can keep the vendor as my photographer.

It depends on who you booked with...There are some photographers who say you HAVE to hire a certain videographer, they wont work with others...I forgot which photographer says you have to hire her husband for the videography...I saw this recently too but forgot which one it was.

That would be ridiculous if they make you keep video in your package. Just call...or next time you stop in there to make a payment, tell them you decided not to do video. By the time your wedding rolls around they won't even remember you removed video from your package. So having someone else there won't matter.
