Ok so I am thinking about changing the resort we booked in Cancun for our HM to something else. Not sure.
Any of you ladies have suggestions?
I guess I should add I want to be closer to the main strip where the restaurants, malls, and clubs are. Not all the way at the tip near the water park and the Marriott/Club Med that is at the far end of the hotel zone

Re: Cancun Hotels
Depending on your budget, the JW Marriott is AMAZING but going to be on the higher end of the hotels. Literally, it was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at, and that says a lot!

I stayed there one night when our flight was delayed a day, it was very nice, but further than I want to be...and yea I dont want to pay $400--$500 a night on a hotel room either

Re: Cancun Hotels
I stayed at the Le Blanc spa & resort and I have never been anywhere more amazing and breath taking. I HIGHLY recommend it!
We did the all-inclusive option. The food was to perfection. The drinks never weak or cheap. One night you do a release of baby sea turtles on the beach and you name them and have a ceremony. The rooms were always extremely clean and service was impeccable. The jacuzzi in your room is a delight too.

Looks amazing...but came up like over 800 sumthing dollars a night. too much.

Re: Cancun Hotels
check out the Palace hotel chains or RIU if you want all inclusive which is a step down from the Palace resorts.
i think I stayed at the RIU Cancun Palace, but I think it may be farther in town from what I remember.

The Royal...I think it won number one hotel last year or year before. It was amazing, all inclusive too.

Re: Cancun Hotels
We are currently staying at The Royals sister resort, but the upgrade to the Royal would be like another $600 or more dollars....

PM me your dates I search vacation deals frequently maybe I could be of some assistance.
I leave for Moon Palace on Sunday (1st time to mexico) I will let you know how it is.
I think you should definitely look into The Royal Playa Del Carmen idk something about those pics make me fall in love with that resort.
I'm not a travel agent btw...

I already have the trip booked, and looking to maybe change the hotel. I am booked with expedia, so I don't know if I can even do it (I did purchase the insurance though) The palace resorts look super nice but I am trying to keep the price under $400 even $300 a night.

Re: Cancun Hotels
If you want to wait a few weeks I can send you pics and give you more info... But based on reviews it seems in the hotel zone and not for families more for adults.
