I think you can get any kind of candles and its fine (except for the ones for the first dinner in the new home)

Check out a craft store, they have most colors and you'll get them pretty cheap

You can do any size. Bed Bath and beyond has a nice candle section.

yankee candle has them. are you doing a candle basket for a shower? i have done them before and i used votive sized candles from yankee candle...they worked out great

i got really cute candles at the dollar store, for the baby vers i eve got ones that look like baby bottles

i'd do a mix of them, being sure that the dinner ones are tapers.
