Candle Favors

I've seen them and have the catalog but wasn't sure re: quality. Have you burned it yet? Does it burn well? Were they wrapped? How was it presented?

My neighbor just had her wedding at the GC hotel and gave beautiful candle favors. I was surprised to see how reasonably priced these favors were. You can get the smallest candles personalized w/ your names and date w/ a pressed flower(they have all seasons) for $3.50. The link is http://www.chandlerscandle.com

Well said! Excellent summary. Yes, you know you chose some glitz, but with it came the other aspects that you appreciate. It's so important to understand what is important in your choices + what is ok to give up to achieve your goals without feeling forced to go beyond your budget to check off every nuance of your desires. When it comes done to it, all your left with is the shared joy with family + friends (and your pictures!) (joke! re: ha, ha! no need for anyone to react. I'm NOT soliciting!)

Thanks! I am looking for a neat favor for my sisters shower and I think that's v. pretty.

Which one did you get? The small/medium/large votive? The small is $3.50 - in my budget. But I'm worried it might be too small.....

I do appreciate your feedback! Thanks!

I made a really neat favor for my sisters shower last year and people are still talking about it. I bought at Ikea wood picture frames that were unfinshed. There were 3 in a package. I painted them a sand color and hot glued sea shells on to the corners. Instead of wrapping them, I make up cards that went in place of the picture that said Bridal shower the date and given by the bridesmaids. I used them as part of the centerpiece. It frames hold a 4"x6" picture either horizontal or vertical. This cost me about $1.25 a favor. The picture frames were $1.98 for 3.

I also made with my girlfriend for her sisters baby shower, scissor holders that can be hung on the refrigerator. They are made from a potholder folder into a cone shape then hot glued in place. We glued on some cute buttons and a magnet on the back so that it can be hung on the refrigarator. Some people think that given scissors is bad luck. It cost my girlfriend about $2.00 a favor.

cool beans. Thanks! :o) I think I can order a sample - and if you order online, you get a 5% discount. Love that! :)

Thanks for the feedback.

For a single guest, do you address the outer envelope "Mr. John Smith" and the inner envelope "Mr. John Smith and Guest" or do you put the "and Guest" on the outer envelope as well? Or do you even have to put anything on the inner envelope?? The last couple of wedding invitations I received, they did not have anything on the inner envelope.
