My placecards are square votive candleholders with the seating info on a favor tag. The candle wouldnt be lit. I think my hall has the guests pick up the placecards before the CH. Do you think it would be too annoying for the guests to keep track of the votive during the CH? I should add that there will be enough seating during the CH for everyone.

I don't think so-especially since they aren't going to be lit. The women will end up holding their husbands/boyfriends-so it shouldn't be a pain. Or, I would ask the hall to have them pick them up after the CH-either way is fine.
