Candles around centerpieces??

Do you think this is a mandatory thing to do? I know it is up to us, but do you think the table will look better with votives lit around the centerpieces? Would it be too plain without?

I don't think that it is manditory, but I personally think it looks nice. If you have mirrors in your hall, I've heard many people say it stands out. In the end it is up to you. However, you can get them cheap.

Depends on the Centerpiece, look of the hall, the complete look you want to achieve.

I cant help much, except to say that if they are tall I would put candles around them b/c then the light from them will light up all sides of CP

They are on sale often at both of these stores...check their ads in the sunday paper for Michael's and wednesday's for AC Moore. Or you can just check their web sites once a week if you don't get the paper - they each have their circulars online, without the coupon.

You might also want to check Ikea - sometimes they have boxes of votives for good prices.
