So does anyone plan on doing candles with rose petals or something as opposed to flower center pieces?

I found a really cool candelabra that can hang out of wine bottles (our theme) but since I'm having a day wedding I think candles would be out of place. I think the light into Giorgio's ballroom is pretty nice on its own

I actually saw a really nice CP that was three different size vases with floating candles...but it cost more than flowers would've....
I know someone who DIY with candles though, she said it came to about 50 per table.

i think the only way i would do only candles is if i decided to do clear cylinder vases with flowers inside and candles on top floating...

Re: candles vs flower CP's.
we were thinking of doing like a fish bowl with rose pedals in the water and floating candles on top. Something along those lines. I'm not really a girly girl so i'm having trouble with flowers as is I dont wanna add more flowers

I'm doing low CP's with candles and petals surrounding. It's a great way to stretch your decor on a budget. We're also doing candles on the fireplace mantles in large tubular cylinders. Our wedding is also daytime but the ballroom is dark wood and the candles looks beautiful

yeah I saw that at a florist it's beautiful, but they wanted 150 per centerpiece for three different sizes cylinders per table...
I thought that was a lot!

Re: candles vs flower CP's.
I am doing tall flowervcenterpieces. The room I am in is very large so I am afraid if I do low centerpieces the room will look empty.
