Re: Candy bar ?
I am not doing one and haven't been to a wedding where it was done, but I think it's fine to have it as a favor. Some people do it in addition to a favor, but I think there's nothing wrong with using it as your favor.

Re: Candy bar ?
i think this is a good idea, especially if there are any kids ...but dont know if there would be enough either...maybe you can get miniature goodie bags or really small boxes, so people cant take too much....

Re: Candy bar ?
i think it's a cute idea. Alot of people give favors that no one will use and this is something alot of people will like.

Re: Candy bar ?
right but are you getting that from your reception hall? my RH has a candy cart that u can add on for like an additional $350. That's why i was wondering if it's something you have to get as an add on, or if your RH lets u bring your own candy and set it up there

Re: Candy bar ?
I think she's talking about a candy buffet, not individual candy bars.

Re: Candy bar ?
I did an all white candy buffet. I used clear bags I bought off papermart.com that had white snowflakes on them. I laid out red ribbon and stickers with our monogram on it for people to tie up their bags. The candy bar was the talk of the wedding. People went nuts, they took alot more candy then I thought. The candy was wiped out!!! There was a constant line at the table, I never got close. I also got Godiva littel boxes as an additional favor...but the do it yourself candy bags won EVERYONE over. There were plenty of hte Godiva left, nothing from the candy bar though.
