Wonderinf if anyone has done or is planning to do a candy bar. I have seen a few pics of different vases with different candies of the wedding colors. The guests get to create their own candy bags to take home. We are doing seperate favors, but really like the idea. Wondering if anyone has any pics or words of advice for this idea....

I'm doing this! My RH is actually taking care of it for me. I have to just buy the candy and they already have the glass vases/bowls to display them in. I'm also buying 1/2 pint chinese takeout boxes and I'm having stickers printed with my monogram and 'SWEET dreams from the Bride and Groom' to put on the boxes. I think it's a cute touch that everyone will enjoy! HTH!

I got mine at party city for 1.99 each, but they were on sale for 99 cents each!

I saw at Costco the other day, a set of 3 apothecary jars for about $50. I know it's a bit expensive, but I thought they were cute and you can use all different sizes and types of jars for different candies.
I am doing one, well I asked my BP for one lol and hopefully I shall have one, but my mother works for a vending machine company at night, and she is going to get a whole bunch of candy really cheap.
There are soo many ideas you can come up with, maybe google 'wedding candy bar' or something like that. I have seen some really cute ones on here too.
