So I heard this is a big thing now. I just was wondering, is it in place of the favors or in addition to? And who sets this up at the recetption? Does the hall do it for you?
I love the idea but I am not sure how it works. Any feedback?

we did it and it was a huge hit!!
some people use it as a favor, some people do it in addtion a favor.
some halls have the jars, some halls you need to bring the jars in...but i am pretty sure you supply the candy.
we brought in our own jars and candy and they set it all up for us.
i'll try to see if i can pst some pix.... ours was a ltlle extreme, our baquet manager wants pix to show other brides!!

I am using it as a favor. I am purchasing my own jars, scoops and candy. Since I plan on using them as favors I am having between 20 and 25 jars both regular candy and sugar free. The hall is setting everything up for us according to how i want it done. My DOC will also make sure everything is perfect. these are just a few pics
I think it really looks nice when you incorporate the candy into your colors on a separate table as an extra. I don't think it's overkill at all. Unless of course the RH provides a monster Viennese with cordials, then there's no need.

We are having one as an addition to our Vienneese Hr....We both love candy and we are supplying the Jars, Scoopers and Candy....they will set everything up for us....

You can find EVERY candy you want in bulk...thats where we will order ours from!! We are ordering etiher clear plastic bags with our monograms or chineese take out boxes with our monograms....just a little something for them to munch on going home!

I am doing it for my E-party as a favor and waiting to see how big of a hit it is b/c if everyone loves it than I will prob have it at the wedding too.

u have to let me know how it goes. fox hollow told me that u can pick 20 different candies but i am so curious to c what they have. lol i am a candy junkie

i dont think they do personalized bags but i know they do clear cellophane bags. u can always get personalized stickers made up that u can put on the bags. we r doing chinese take out boxes
