Candy Boxes.....

Hi Ladies,

I need your opinion on something. Instead of matches on the tables I am thinking of doing candy boxes so i am trying to come up with what kind of candy to put in there. I was thinking of the pillow mints but the boxes are a little spacey and I would have to fill it up with so many of them to fill a box who needs a whole box full of those things. then i was thinking chocolates but i am doing this next weekend and the wedding is july 6 so if i do that the chocolate may go bad. So i was thinking of doing the lifesaver white mint candies but my MIL said that may be a little tacky for a wedding but i explained to her that i am not doing the colored ones...i am doing the white mint ones. what do you ladies think??? how about chocolate mints??? do you think they would go bad by July 6. I am doing the candy boxes on June 14.

Is the reception inside? If so as long as there is ac I don't think you will have a problem with chocolate.

If you don't feel safe doing the chocolate I did jordan almonds and I got married July 7th. I needed candy that would be ok outside.

I was thinking of Jordan Almonds but then I thought maybe not because They are already going to be on the favor boxes.

My reception is indoors.

oooh I found a site that does peppermints individually wrapped w/ your name & date on them and they are only about $150 for 1000!!
Fortunately Yours I was thinking about ordering them myself!
