I really wanted one but I was watching Four Wedding this weekend and one of the bride had one. A comment was made that it more for the children, I will not being having children (Aleast, I am not inviting any - who knows what my guest will do LOL)
Wil it be a big hit or will the same comment be made?

Re: Candy Buffet?
What?!People annoy me with their comments. I'm definitely having one. I'm a candy FREAK!. Who said candy is just for kids? They were probably just jelly that they didn't have a candy buffet at their wedding lol. I've yet to go to a wedding with a candy buffet! I'm dying to go to one!

Re: Candy Buffet?
MUST SAY, ANY PARTIES I GO TO, BE IT A WEDDING/CHRISTENING/COMMUNION/ETC., IF THERE IS A CANDY TABLE, I'M RIGHT OUT THERE WITH THE KIDS FILLING UP A LITTLE BAG LOL AND THINKING BACK TO IT, I'M NOT THE ONLY ADULT DOING IT EITHER.
FSIL & FBIL HAD A CANDY TABLE AT THEIR WEDDING WHICH WAS STRICTLY ADULTS....GREAT SUCCESS!!!!

Re: Candy Buffet?
I may do it, since we are having a Sundae Bar. I figure everyone loves candy.
Kinda cheesey but my FH's Nana (86 yrs old) calls us M&M, so I may focus on varied colors and types of M&M's.

Re: Candy Buffet?
I do not think that Candy Buffets are only for children parties. I know at TWOTY everyone flocked to the candy bar!
Although I may be jadded since I am planning on doing a candy bar at my wedding.

Re: Candy Buffet?
Go for the Candy!!! I'm doing candy favors and I debating if I should make it a candy buffet or just have them prepackaged.

ITA. A friend from work said I should do this but we just can't afford to spend the extra money. FH loves candy and I think it's a good idea!

Linda, you're right it's super expensive! I want one, but that may change when I calculate how much everything is going to cost!

Re: Candy Buffet?
I am totally going to do this...but may call it a 'sweet bar' instead, since I would like to incorporate some of our other favorite treats besides candy. Does anyone know of websites that you can order bulk candy from? I could have sworn I saw a thread on here for that, but after searching several times, I could not find it. I'd like to get an idea of how much this would cost now, so I can budget and save for it!!
