My MOH really wanted one at her wedding but had the same concern. We did it at her shower instead. It was a big hit. However, i think it would have been just as nice at the actual wedding,

It was a HUGE HIT at TWOTY!!!! Everyone ran over to it & filled their bags and before you knew it, all the candy was gone!
I think it is a great idea & if I went to a wedding with it I would be sooooo excited!!!

I had one at my first wedding and let me tell you, IT WAS A HUUUUUGE HIT!!! I actually had to clear a path through the ADULTS for the flower girls and ringbearer to get to it!!

i have never been to a party with a candy buffet but if you want it and can afford it then go for it. Who doesn't like candy.

If you like it then go for it!!! Don't let others influence you in your wedding especially when it comes to something you like!!!! Its YOUR wedding!!!! BTW I think Im going to do a candy buffet too... There are so many ways to make it look elegant, classy without looking childish!!!! Good Luck!!! =)
