Candy Buffet
Is anyone doing a candy buffet? I've been looking into companies that take care of the whole thing vs. doing it on my own. Does anyone have info or suggestions? Thanks!

I'm doing it on my own bc I have most of the supplies (jars) myself... I raided my families houses and asked for any size glass vases. I'm still searching for the best deal on wholesale candy and I'm just having my hall set it up for me

ooooh, I didn't know there were companies that did that for you. I think that would be worth it - one less thing to worry about!

That's great that you were able to get all of the jars together. I'd be completely starting from scratch so I'm thinking having someone else take care of it all might be the better option. thanks!

Re: Candy Buffet
My friend does candy buffets. She owns a company in Long Island and started mostly with kids parties and showers but now she does weddings and sweet 16's for a lot of people too. I know she is really great priced compared to other candy companies and she has an amazing portfolio. If you want her info let me know.

Candy Buffet
My DOC does candy buffets. She has all the jars, scoop, signs and does personalized bags with labels. She can do it in your wedding colors or any colors you pick. It's $6 per person. FM me if you want her info! I've seen her stuff set up in person and it's absolutely gorgeous! She provides approximately 1.5 pounds of candy per person and she sends you home with any candy left over.

Candy Buffet
I did it myself and it came out to be less than what I was quoted by a company which was $6pp. I bought clear cello bags from 5 Below, they were $1 for 20 bags I believe, had stickers made up on vistaprint, bought the candy in bulk from walmart.com, amazon and oriental trading, wherever I could find the cheapest prices. DH did splurge and bought M&Ms in the city in our colors. I got custom hershey bar wrappers made from a vendor on etsy who emails you the pdf and I printed them out at home. I bought jars and vases at Homegoods. I spent $4.50pp on everything. I had a ton of candy too with a LOT left over. Selling my vases/jars if you're interested and candy scoops as well.ETA: my hall set the whole thing up for me as well, I just told them which candy went in which jar/vase.

My DOC does candy buffets too! Before I hired her, I had been extremely nervous about doing the buffet myself but after she found out that I wanted one, she assured me that she would take care of it all. I think her prices vary depending on how elaborate you want the bar to be.. some are extremely affordable (less than anything I've seen here) FM me for info if interested..Welcome New Vendors
