Candy Buffet help....

How much candy should I get for 250 ppl Is there some sort of formula X oz./ person.... I dunno. I think this might get expensive any advce on where I can purchase them or anyone selling theirs?

4.25' w X 8' h X 2.25'

I bought 30 lbs for each type of candy. I had gummie bears, juju bees, m&m's, charms lollipops, swedish fish.

I bought bulk..I recommend using gummy bears and Swedish fish and m& m's people went crazy for those 3. I will give you some websites where I got my candy!

I would love to but my grandma wants the candy to be individually wrapped what is this? trick or treat?

I am doing a candy bar and I am buying about a 1/2 pound each. I have read to buy atleast 1/4 to 1/2 each guest but I have also read that you aren't supposed to stick to only the number of pounds when buying, you should also get enough to fill containers at all different heights. Apparently, the look is very important, which I can see. Here is a helpful website I found:

I bought a lot of my candy after valentine's day and got great deals. Try after easter but make sure to check expiration dates.

So far, I have bought all my jars ( 10 I think) and about 75 pounds of candy and I have spent $140. If you shop around, you will do well. I got the glass jars in the clearance spots of walmart, also got a HUGE one at Marshalls. Good luck!
