So I'm toying with the idea of doing a candy buffet because both Fh and I are real sweets lovers. He's more of a candy lover and I'm more of a chocolate lover.
I have a few questions for those of you who did or are planning to do a candy buffet:
1 - Where did you guys get your jars?
2 - How many jars of candy did you put out?
3 - Where did you buy the containers/bags?
4 - Did you put your monogram on it?
5 - Where did you buy your candy?

Re: Candy Buffet Questions
I would ask your RH. Sometimes they have the bowls, jars, containers to use. We are doing a candy and the NRC has offered up their containers for us to use. We will most likely but 1/2 pint takeout containers fron Uline. Their prices seem very reasonable. They also have bags and other fun things to choose from. Not sure where I'm getting the candy, but they will all be fall-like (candy corn, etc.) HTH!

I actually get a catalog in the mail, but they also have a website that you could order from.

Re: Candy Buffet Questions
1 - Where did you guys get your jars? Walmart, scoops too
2 - How many jars of candy did you put out? Around 10, maybe 12
3 - Where did you buy the containers/bags? Paper Mart I used 1/2 pound white tin-tie bags.
4 - Did you put your monogram on it? I didn't, but that's because I only put the whole thing together the weekend before the wedding, if I had decided to do it sooner, I would have liked to have put something on the bags to personalize them.
5 - Where did you buy your candy? All over, but mostly Economy Candy, downtown...and Dylan's.

Re: Candy Buffet Questions
1 - Where did you guys get your jars? - our RH provided them all, except for one that we got at Walmart
2 - How many jars of candy did you put out? - 6-7
3 - Where did you buy the containers/bags? - bags I got at Star Trac
I was thinking about doing it, but I am at the point that I don't have the energy to do anything extra.

Re: Candy Buffet Questions
I recently, like last week, saw beautiful old time sundry candy glass canisters with a metal lid at National Wholesale liquidators and AC moore for 1$ -10$ from 1 c - 12 c size.
