Re: Candy Favors
You could make your own I am going to a sweet 16 saturday and her favors are chocolate lolipops. Obviously you could do more with it but she made the chocolate to mathc the colors of her sweet 16. Just an idea.

I love the Hershey Bars with the wedding wrapper but I'm not sure where I saw them.

I've seen custom colored M&Ms -- you can get them in pretty much any color and I think you can even have your names put on them.

Re: Candy Favors
In addition to a picture frame we will be giving little white boxes filled with Orange Starburst. There is a little story behind it, when FH and I were in the police academy, I ALWAYS had candy with me, and FH LOVES orange candies so I would save the orange starburst for him, never let anyone else have them I am not sure where we’ll get them. I tried contacting the manufacturer (no luck yet) or else I will have to buy bags of them and weed out the other colors (hope we don’t have to do that!)

I think I ordered them from American Wedding, but they actually use another company and I think if you order from that other company directly, it might be cheaper.

Re: Candy Favors
I am doing candy as well as a monogrammed cookie and donation. I bought 8 oz jelly jars for my candy and ordered pink and green M and Ms. I am being obsessive about the shade of candy though, and am not sure if I like the Mand Ms... so might do non-pariels or wrapped Hershey's miniatures...they are selling them in pastels right now for Easter.....not sure yet!!!

Re: Candy Favors
we got the silver favor tins from blissweddingsmarket.com for like .40 each... we want to put mints in them, so i'm looking for some cute pastel colored ones. we'll do that and tie a ribbon around the tin. simple, cute easy....

We gave chocolate truffles. We loved the vendor we used - they are based in PA.

That's what I'm doing. I got them a couple weeks ago and they're so cute! They printed mine and FH's names and the wedding date on them. Got them in pink and green. I just hope people won't house them without looking at them!

Re: Candy Favors
The Knot.com has the small mini hershey's on sale. You can either buy the wrappers only (which is what I did) or buy the chocolate w/the wrappers. I'm buying a bag of the Hershey miniatures at Costco and I am just going to wrap them myself. I wanted to do something that would be fun and it's a WHOLE lot cheaper than the regular size chocolate bars. I'm paying like $40 for 100 wrappers!! I thought it would be cute to drop a few of them on the tables. I also ordered personalized napkins too. They're also on sale.

Re: Candy Favors
Lindt CHocolate outlet always has 'fill a bag for 9.99'....its different truffles different days..I do not think there is any set day for set chocolates, just what is overstock maybe...
Keep an eye out...you can stuff a TON in the bags and its very inexpensive!
