What do you lady's think about doing a candy jar with jujubes in them. They are the bright colors of my wedding so they would look cute! I don't know, justy can't spend too much! HELP!!!!
I'm totally for edible favors. They will go with the summery feel of your wedding too
I think it's a great favor. I had this in mind at one point. I thought it would be cute to say something like 'A Sweet Beginning' with the wedding date on it and have the candy inside.
i've gotten jars with the latch like the first pic at the dollar tree i'm a big wierdo and i make my own jam and use those jars they are great and seal so well but kinda big like to fill it might take a whole box of candy or maybe even a box and 1/2
The candy comes in 5lb bags, how much do you guys think I will need?

They only measure 3in tall and 1.75in wide. Still too big???
Were they 1/$1 or in a pack?

oh those are probably fine the ones i got from the dollar tree are like double that size

1 jar for a dollar but they were atleast 6 inches high and pretty wide
WOAH!!! Thanks for the math lesson! That is a lot of candy then!! Hmmm, I hope they take less than a box!!! This is going to get expensive very fast!!!

do you have one of the jars already? i would fill one and see how many candies it takes. I would buy a normal size box like the size you get at the movies first and see how many jars you can fill up with one box. I just looked up online in the typical box of jujubes from the movie theater there is 6.5 ounces of candies so if it takes an entire box of (the movie theater size) candy to fill 1 jar and there are 80 ounces per bag (16 ounces = 1 pound and its a 5 pound bag) then you can fill just over 12 jars with each 5lb bag. Does that help i think i may have confused myself lol
