Canker sores

My sister gets them all the time and not just one she gets like in between 5-10...she went to the doctor and they actually gave her this medicine..she mixes like liodacaine, pepto bismol or something and its like mouth wash..and it helps alot...

If you drink alot of apple juice or acidic foods they are more likely to come

Thanks girls..im going to try everything! I cant stand them anymore. my whole life i've had them, many at one time and its getting to be a little ridiculous now.
I was in FHs cousins wedding back in sept. I had like 4 lined up on the side of my tongue, my tongue swelled and i couldnt speak the whole night nor could I eat anything. I had to leave the wedding early b/c i couldnt stop crying. Something is causing them. just not sure what at this point.

I am gonna find out what my sister got from her doctor...the lidocaine def works...she is just like you with the pain.

I think that Lysine tables are more for coldsores (Mouth Herp!) than canker sores.

Thats true. I take Lysine for cold sore because I get those also. I take Vitamin B Complex for canker sores and it sort of helps if I REMEMBER to take it!!!

I get canker sores far more often than cold sores. They STINK and I talk all day at my job and they only cause me more and more pain!! I really want to keep on top of the Vitamin B before my wedding because I DO NOT want to have one or two or five on the day of!!

You sound like me!!! I've gotten them on the side of my tounge and I think that's the WORST spot to get them....and poor FH...he NEVER even had ONE and he's so sweet and understanding when I can't kiss him

I AM SO SCARED OF GETTING ONE DURING MY WEDDING!
