Re: Cankles!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a very temporary fix ... but I saran-wrapped my ankles overnight a few times ... it's not comfy ... but it works for a day or so, if you wrap them tight enough.

Re: Cankles!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nikki love the saran wrap idea. Jessica if it make you feel better the cankle problem is the least of my problem I have one monster ankle and one regular. I broke my ankle right before i got engaged and put off the surgery till after the wedding so right know my ankle is very swollen because of this weather. I think im gonna try the saran wrap thing on just the one hopefully they will match the next day

Re: Cankles!!!!!!!!!!!!
A common cause of cankles is water retention, which can make the ankles swell to blend in with the calf.Water retention can be triggered by:
- Excessive consumption of alcohol
- Too much salt in your diet
- Long periods of inactivity
- Hormone fluctuations (ie during the menstrual cycle)
- Pregnancy
So if you can relate to any of these causes, it's likely that your cankles are results of water retention and are, therefore, very easy to treat!
To prevent water retention, the best thing you can do is go swimming!
There are also other ways to reduce water retention:
- Try other forms of mild to moderate exercise ie. cycling
- Avoid salty foods
- Drink plenty of water

Re: Cankles!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was gonna say the same thing. Cankles are usually caused by excess water retention. You can always ask your doctor for a mild diuretic (water pill) or try natural remedies, i.e., limit your salt intake - lots of sodium in frozen foods, chinese food, etc... or alcohol consumption. Drink plenty of water to flush yourself out. Green tea works and if you like salads, try apple cider vinegar as a dressing - that works and is all natural!!Welcome New Vendors
