Can't a girl catch a break!

Hi girls!
Totally not wedding related but I need to vent...I had to bring my jeep in to be serviced again.
1 block away from work and my 'Check gages' lught goes on and my oil pressure starts to drop...then its normal....then it drops....then it normal...?????
Ugh, seriously, how much more do I have to struggle with unexpected expense like this?
$98 for just a diagnostic fee and then???/WHO KNOWS what they'll get me for

I don't have any encouraging words but I do know how you feel....we had so many of these unexpected expenses pop up before the wedding

i feel your pain. i lived it when planning my wedding. i just wish you don't have half the things that happened to me happen to you

It might just be from the cold. Sometimes my coolant light comes on in my car. My FH is a mechanic so he said it's just casue it's cold. He checked everything. His car does the same. If it keeps happening I would take it in. Maybe you can look around for a different mechanic to see who will be less expensive.

If you are out near the Port Jeff area, a friend of mine recommended a phenomenal mechanic to me out there (who happens to also be very reasonably priced and honest)!

I drove my car all the way from GC out there to have work done. FM me if you want his contact information.

I know exactly what you mean. My jeep also was breaking down on me alot. If it wasn't one thing it was another, it got real bad. So much so that i just stopped fixing it, it's not worth it. Now I am going to sell it, trade it whatever I don't care anymore.

Don't know if yours is a jeep cherokee, but everyone who had or has one always complain about this happening.

My FH has a lot of friends in the mechanic world ... Next time go to Autozone and have them read your code for free. Then google the code, post it on this site, or post it on a car site and someone should be able to tell you the problem. My light went on, and it turned out to be my gas cap - I just had to get a new one. I saved a $100 diagnostic fee. I would have been so ticked if I had to pay that just to replace a gas cap!!!
