I can’t believe it’s my time to say goodbye!! I am hopping on a flight to Long Island tonight and probably won’t be on much before the big day Saturday, so I wanted to post my goodbye now!!
Where to begin?
Well, first I want to thank the vendors that pay to advertise to LIW. Without them, the powers that be wouldn’t be making a profit and wouldn’t have any incentive to run boards for all of us to chat incessantly about weddings.
Second, a big general THANK YOU to all the LIW girls. Everyone loves to talk about their wedding, and I never wanted to be a bride that chewed my friends and family’s ears off about my wedding and bore them to death. This place provides the perfect forum to get out every breath of excitement, anger, stress, perverted thought, etc. Without it, I probably would have lost my mind during this planning process.
Thanks to every girl that has ever posted a picture, idea, and vendor rave/rant. The ’06 girls especially. This has made the process smooth sailing.
Ahh.. and now where to begin with my ’07 ladies??!
Whether it was discussing cheapness and 12th night with Shorty McBride, talking about the hassles of planning an LI wedding in LI from DC with Laural2979 or being a pervert with MJDoc and DaniRella on freaky Fridays, I had such a ball on these boards!! Much love to all of the other hilarious and deliciously caddy ladies: Nina, Tonimike, D’s Girl/Bari, Penny the lilqtpie, chrissynvin, sugarkube…. The FM chains and picnic basket s-hittin’ from you guys made me wet myself on many occasion!
Thanks to MrsBartontoBe who made my gorgeous monogram that is now slapped on EVERYTHING and Heidi/Tiggeruth for the invitation help!
To my date twins…Hannah38 and MrsC2B/Ivette. I hope that the weather gets a bit warmer and that you both have LOVELY weddings. I might see you around the Hyatt, Ivette! Thanks to both of you for all of the FMs and posts about our special date!

(Brittny817). I never thought for a minute I could fall so in love with a girl I met on a “bride board.” So real, and genuine, and fantastic. You are truly one of the funniest people I have met and a divine person. Im so glad we got to meet, stuff ourselves, and laugh for 3 hours straight. You are a remarkable woman and I can’t WAIT to see you Saturday at my wedding.
And with that, my lovelies, I am off to Long Island and gettin’ ready to get hitched. Im sure I won’t resist coming on during the week, so Im sure I’ll be in touch!
