Can't find invitations I like...

Original post by Gonnacatchapeacock

My gosh - invitations are so expensive - is it typical for the tab to run around over a thousand dollars?
Oh lord....

I I've looked around a little bit but didn't find anything i absolutely loved......online & stuff except this one w/ a brocade lace.....I wanted to go w/ brown tones but all the invitations I see with that look like batmitzvah invitations ! LOL!!

I had this dilemma when I first started looking. everything I liked was SO expensive. So I thought about it came to the realization that at the end of the day, it's paper that is going to get thrown out. I know it's important, and I did want to love them. So someone from LIW rec'd an online site and I found something I liked even better than what I had originally liked. $200 for everything minus thank you cards!

I put the money I saved into the photographer b/c I felt that mattered a lot more.

I did the same thing and so glad I did. I got many compliments on my invites and my brother even said he loved them. You don't need to spend a fortune and still have something you love.

I believe you've seen mine before...I ordered them online at Now & Forever. They came out perfect...actually better than I could ever imagine... They were only $200 for 100 invites, etc.

I also got mine from now & forever, and they came out great, no problems!! And the best was the price, $250 for 150 invites!!

Tell Lori, Jessee sent you. She has invites in every price range. And, this was definetely the area I skimped on. I made peace with the fact that the guests look at them for about a minute and it wasn't something I wanted to break the budget on.
