I know I have plenty of time but I'd like to find them anyway. I went to cudge.net(I hope that's the address)but the frosted votive holders they have are a different shape from the reg. glass. They have kind of a flare to them and I emailed them but this is all they have. I want to use them for the place card settings and Im afraid the labels won't lie flat not to mention I like the look of the others anyway. Any recommendations of where else to look. Thanks

Also try Michael's. You might have to make a couple of trips but it might be worth it.

there's a type of paste (has an elmer's glue consistency) you can use to frost glass. you apply it on like paint and wait a minute and wipe off. very simple. i used the material to customize our glass cups at home that says 's+s'

antoinette,
are you using vellum paper on top of the frosted glasses for your placecards?
I thought you were supposed to use plain glass votives for that...i'm so confused with this little project.

Armour Etch Glass Etching Cream is one brand you might want to look into. the glass etching cream can be found in most craft stores like Joann's, Michael's, Pearl Paint, etx. have fun!

Thanks. Im actually going to try both. I just like the frosted look better but I guess if you make the vellum label wide enough it'll give that look right?

I don't think it matters, really - the frosted just gives off a more muted light.
