We decided to send response cards that do not include the M____________________ which apparently has caused confusion, why, I have no idea. Here are some of the comments we've received (keep in mind we mailed our invitations on Saturday)
- FSIL: Pretty invitation, but your response card confuses me
- One of my co-workers called to tell me the card was missing all she received was a card with the response deadline tucked inside the response envelop (duh- that is the card)
- One of FH's co-workers asked if she should write her name extra neatly b/c the response cards are doubling as the seating cards at the wedding
- My brother's girlfriend has been searching for the number I wrote on her response card. can not find it anywhere!

I'm going to be honest, I can definitely see how people would get confused, especially the older people like grandparents.
Of course girls like us wouldn't get confused bc we are all newlyweds or brides to be.

she wants to know what number she was and when she flipped over the response card there was no penciled in number. She doesn't know that Lisa told me to hide it under the stamp!

You honestly can't win with this, we chose to have M__________ on our response cards, and ask me why 3 different responses were sent back with no one's names! Thank god for this site and the numbering system or I would have been lost

I think you are just suppose to write in your name....right? see i'm not even 100% sure but thats what I would do.
YES!!! You write your own name in the empty space. There is plenty of room for name and a little note and whether or not the guest can attend.
I have received invitations like this in the past, has anyone else?
