Can't wait til this $%i^ is over

Seriously- I am over wedding planning-i think the last 2 weeks have to be the worst-when I thought everything should be like a breeze. It's almost like there are not enough hours in a day. I love getting married to the man i love-i am fortunate to have been able to afford our wedding, i love that i will be surrounded with loved ones, and I never lost thought of that. But I have to say-once I am married don't think I can listen to another bride-it gets under my skin talking wedding stuff...not sure if any other bride feels this way......I can't even bare to take a glance at the 2012 boards because i want to barf thinking about the stages of planning...sorry ladies maybe a bad day-or maybe just me

I dont think I'm sick of the wedding stuff as much as I am just sick of the worrying and the stress of making sure everything gets done. Also in my case, making sure I gather up all the money I need. After the wedding I def will not miss having to put every single check towards the wedding and I wont miss stressing over details. I think ill still like wedding stuff tho

omgosh soo funny that u posted this...cuz i was going to post something like this and i was like i dont want to be a debbie downer..lol..buttt i totally have been feeling like omg i cant wait til this is over and i go on my honeymoon and then play house with my hubby! i totally agree tho about marrying the man u love and friend and family..but i am soo done with this planning..and soo many ppl say enjoy every minute of it..im kinda of done with every minute of it!! lol terrible to say i know..

I'm very happy my wedding and planning is done. I'm only attending 1 wedding this month and I dont care to attend another wedding for like another 2 years, Dh feels the same way.

It becomes like a second job. I love to help other girls as much as I can.

I guess I don't feel this way only because we didn't have a super crazy wedding.....I wasn't dealing with bridesmaids, uplighting, favors.....all those extras. Even thought it was stressful, I enjoyed my final product and in every picture we are both beaming- just happy and smiling, which is all I really wanted.

I didn't really care that much about making menus, paying $800 for a card box, etc...which really helped me keep my sanity in check.

I can only imagine how some of you, especially with big weddings, are feeling. It is almost over, ladies!!!!!!

People around me are stressing me more than wedding planning...but it's all related to the wedding - so yes, I can't wait for it to be over as well!! I just want my life back, a life where I don't have to explain to people why I made the decisions I've made.
If I had the ballzzz to tell people to piss off, I'd be way better off

I've been hearing and noticing alot of brides getting depressed after their weddings are over. I honestly don't think this is going to happen to me bc I will be so happy to be able to spend money on things like clothes, vacations, going out to eat, etc. again.

Also, having my free time back to workout more, see friends, go out and do things, take weekend trips again. I'm looking forward to all these things that I haven't been able to do much of in the past year and 3 months.

I did the same. Once the wedding was over, I took the family on a vacation, went shopping and am still shopping...and I have to add that I finally got my life back together. Wedding planning is very stressfull especailly when you have to pay for it yourself.

You're going to have an amazing wedding...just 2 more weeks and it will finally all be over.

AGREED!! Cant wait to spend money on something OTHER than the wedding!
