can't wait to move out of this apt!!! (mini vent)

ughhh....i am sitting in bed on the laptop (i really should be asleep but that is besides the point)....and all i hear is my landlord upstairs walking around! i swear they must never go to sleep! last night i was up till after 2am (i was reallly trying to fall asleep i swear....and all i could hear is them walking around!!!)......and half the time i hear someone vacuuming around midnight! AHHHHHH.....can't wait to get ouuuut!

(sorry i just needed to vent!)

Oh man that really stinks,

are you in a house?

When we rented our apartment, it was very thick cememt floors, and it was a 10 story building.
But the guy next door, was sooooooooooo annoying he would blast his TV every nite and not turn it off til 7am....i think he would smoke pot and pass out in the living room.

He would go away to florida alot and it was sooo nice when he was gone, we never complained though cause there were like 100 apartments and we were renting and he owned his.

you should complain, vacuuming at midnight is unacceptable

I think the people who used to live above me moved to above you.

Although the guy who used to love above me was the loudest human being alive. I swear he would run from the living room to the kitchen. Or he was tumbling back and forth. It also sounded like he was falling all the time. Very strange...

Thank gooness I live in a house now!!

trust me i feel ur pain...i love the apt im in SOMETIMES. people can be so rude.


my upstairs neighbors are musicians..and feel the need to play guitar, sing, blast music from anywhere to 3pm -9pm. its not midnite but when im tryin to eat dinner, watch jeopardy...or enjoy peace I CANT haha

oh and i love that my landlord parks on the street when she has a driveway that only she can use..i had to park 2 blocks away which meant when i left this morning in the pouring rain...i was a bit wet!!

OMG that would drive me insane! New people are moving in upstairs so i dont know what type of noise they will bring. From what i have heard so far, there is an obnoxious teenager and the mom yells a lot (and smokes...).

I had the same problem..my upstairs neighbors who were renters would have band practice at 7PM to 2AM with his band members...I got out of control when they hooked up an AMP....

so I got them evicted =

The apt is now empty YAY!

I can totally feel your pain. Our upstairs neighbors also enjoy vacuuming at the most random hours. The guy is also an artist who works with wood, and EVERY Saturday and Sunday morning he is up there chopping wood and banging and whittling and I want to rip his head off.
But we are moving next month, so Im just going to deal for now. But Im sorry that you are having problems too! You should def just knock on their door and nicely ask them to not be so loud late at night. Sometimes they just dont even realize that they can be heard by other people.
