Canvas Totes

I was going to get my BMs necklaces but now I'm debating small canvas totes filled with manicure and pedicure goodies and flip flops for the reception...what do you think? I am not sure which would be better...a necklace they wear once or a bag they may or may not use?

hmm.. i like the idea of the bag. The necklace would be really nice to though! ok.. i'm no help at all..lmaoo.. I think they are both good ideas!!!

My thoughts exactly...I know some girls would like the necklace, some the bag....BUT the bag would be a bit less....and I do have 8 girls...ugh...decisions!

Are you planning on them wearing the jewelry for the wedding. If you don't mind all the girls wearing different
jewelry I would recommend the bags.

This is something they can get allot of use out of. are you getting their initials on them? its a nice touch.

I'm also debating if ill do the DOJ or a more personal gift they can use more often.

We REALLY need to get to the outlets!!!!

I was debating on going today after work but then my sister called and asked me to babysit for a few hours.

I never got to use the coupons and they expire tomorrow

ETA thats exactly what I was planning on doing....getting the bag and filling it with goodies. Plus buying an inexpensive necklace.

Yeah, call me crazy but I think the BM DOJ is what everyone gets ( that's what I'm getting my BMs!)

I was going to do a makeup train case and fill with goodies but I'm kinda lazy.

If I was a BM, I would appreciate a bag of goodies more than a necklace.

Except if I was in my bridal party cuz this is the necklace they're getting :

Every girl love a bag or canvas they can def get good use out of it. Fill them up with goodies and I am sure they will enjoy it you can initial them as well, go for it, its a great idea

How about a canvas tote (love the LL Bean monogram- & they come in all diff. sizes) and instead of the mani / pedi & flip flops to DOJ? I'm doing something sort of similar just getting my BM's costume jewelry from a few places I go around the city. I've been in several bridal parties that gave DOJ and although it was very pretty with the dress- I never wore it again... HTH

I like the idea of the bag. I was actually going to do the same thing. My thinking was that for all the weddings I have been a BM in I never wear the jewelry again. Everyone has a pair of earrings and necklace they can wear. I would rather spend the money on a gift they could use and enjoy.

Things Remembered has small pink totes on sale for $5.99. So maybe you can do both? I just ordered them for my girls and I'm putting their necklaces in there, along with some other goodies.

I would rather the tote with DOJ....I wouldn't want the mani-pedi kit ( I don't have time to give myself a full-blown home mani/pedi) and have 50 pairs of flip-flops already! lol I would love to get my DOJ and a tote to reuse time and time again! JMO hope it helps!
