I went years ago. I stayed in Falmouth at the Falmouth Inn, not very fancy, but I went alone so I was just looking for a cheap place to crash.
I stayed there cuz it was only like a 1/2 hour ferry ride to Martha's Vineyard and there are really nice bike trails there. It's also right near Wood's Hole which had a cute little town.
It is really pretty and I am trying to get DH to do a weekend up there.
