Capitale was the first venue I went to take a look at. Before I visited it, I would look at pics online everyday, I was OBSESSED with this place. Its georgeous. I would say this is where I am getting married bec I really wanted a city wedding. It was a Bank back in the days and you walk in and you see a huge gold vault right in the middle, soooo nice. BUT, the location OMG, Chinatown, craziness, smelly, its in the midddle of the block. Its just a big huge space and very cold. I thought Gotham Hall was a little more cozier. They took us upstairs to the ************* and a room where the guys could hang / CH for the BP and that was really really nice. I forgot the prices off hand when I go home I will send you the prices they gave me. They didnt offer that much but if I had it there it will cost me over 100,000 . My family would be like where the hell is the food, lololol

Yeah capitale and gotham hall were my favorites, and tried real hard to consider and kept looking over their menu's and knew what our families reaction would be...but i also liked gotham hall more.

Also just so you know, you have to pay for the electric bill to have it at capitale, you deal with the electrician company and pay them yourself.

Another place that is gorgeous is Angel orensanz foundation. I LOVE the way this place looks and i heard the price is not that bad, whatever that really means i don't know...The problem i had though was that at 11:30 the party has to be over and from what i hear they shut the music off before that, which for me would've been a problem...my parents think were ending it early at 1:30am lol...but if youre having an earlier wedding than this is a great choice...here is a pic and ill also post a link for more pics

YEAH ITS pretty expensive, and they make you pay for the electricity WHICH IS CRAZY, you have to deal with their electric company and pay them directly...BUt yeah its gorgeous, gotham hall is gorgeous too and looks very similar

Another place is Angel orensanz-STUNNING, only weird thing about that place is you have to end it by 11:30

i think it's $200/person plus a site fee... i may be mixing it with another venue though
