Re: Capt Bills Bayview House
i checked it out. its a very very pretty room and the price is very reasonable. I chose a different place because I didnt think there was much else besides the room for photos and stuff like that. Plus one view out of the window is of the parking lot. But it really is a pretty room.

I really liked this place (love the fact that it is on the water); however, my cousin was married there a year ago and I didn't want to do a 'repeat' reception. The food was excellent and the service was quite good, from what I remember. Good luck!

Went to a wedding there last October. Excellent food...pretty room - thought it was a little scarce, but pretty nonetheless. I hear it's a GREAT price.
Good luck!

Re: Capt Bills Bayview House
I am getting married at Captain Bills.
I chose it because:
1) Love the view of the water 2) Love the look of the room, very basic, yet classy. I hated most of the reception halls cause everything was pink or maroon and floral. That was so not my style. 3) Price was reasonable. Not great, but reasonable. 4) FOOD IS EXCELLENT!!!!! 5) Everyone was wonderful to work with. ( so far).
If you can, when you go, talk to either Shannon or Michael (he's one of the owners).
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: Capt Bills Bayview House
My wedding is there on Oct 12 of this year. I saw it once and went back an booked it. They couldn't have been nicer. The food is awesome! I have seen the Bayview house...but my wedding is a bit too small for that room. So we booked the smaller room in the restaurant part. Still very pleased. I reccomend it

I REALLY wanted to have my wedding there but I got out-voted and talked out of it (due to size of wedding and the parkining lot view - I didn't care about that). The Baview House is just perfect!! Simple and classy - open and airy. And they seemed very accomadating. I liked that they would do food stations instead of sit-down. We ate dinner there that night and it was awesome! Good Luck! PS - Pretty good price too!

Re: Capt Bills Bayview House
I had my wedding there on June6,2003 It was amazing. The food was excellent. The people were really helpful and the Place look absolutely beautiful. I picked this place because I loved it the minute I saw it. The other places I looked at I didn't like. They were tooo much. I didn't like the colors or the flowers on the wallpaper. Captain Bills bayview house is great. I hope all you girls who are having your weddings there have the same experience I did. It was great

Re: Capt Bills Bayview House
We booked it for next July. I couldn't be happier. It is classy but does nto scream Wedding Hall. We took ourfamilies there on Easter to show them the room and Captain bills comped us our meals because we booked our wedding there. How nice is that? What great food, atmosphere and people. I would definatley reccommend it to anyone. Its good to hear such postive reviews, and you can do pics on the dock at sunset. Yeah!!!
