Captain Bill's???

A couple of people recommended Captain Bill's to me for my small reception (50-60 guests). Does anyone know their prices??? Or have any opinions about the place?? Just trying to see if it's worth the drive. Thanks

they are are small place right on the water--just big enough to a small wedding. they are pretty much a staple in around here in bay shore....my parents ate dinner there 26 yrs. ago after they were married at town hall!

Don't know about Capt Bills- but i did want to mention some places for a small reception.
Try 'The Irish Coffee Pub' I just hosted a shower there that was lovely & they def. do weddings! The room we were in for the shower was for 60 people & would be perfect for a small wedding. Food & service were good & the room was so pretty.

Also look into the Three Village Inn, they do small weddings & are on the water in Stony Brook Village.

I checked out the Bayview House there, they are $100/pp (May 08 Sat. evening). The room is pretty nice but I think will be too big for your reception size. I would suggest calling them up and pricing one of their smaller rooms, it probably is cheaper also. I'd say go check them out
