Captain Bill's Bayshore as Ceremony/Reception Site?
I just recently got engaged (Thanksgiving 2012!) and I am beginning to look at venues for Summer 2014. No true date in mind, very flexible, but would like to find a nice ceremony/reception that is also inexpensive, site on Long Island. I was curious about Captain Bill's because I had been there awhile ago for school functions & a baby shower. I love their Bay View House as a reception site, but I am not quite sure I like it as a ceremony space. I was wondering if there are any Captain Bill's brides out there that can tell me about there experience with a ceremony there...Do they have any other ceremony space besides the same room as the reception?, I don't really like the idea of myself of my bridesmaids walking down the stairs to enter the ceremony (in front of everyone, god forbid someone falls!, hey people get nervous sometimes!) If someone could tell me about their experience or address these concerns that would be wonderful & I would like some info on pricing for friday or sunday weddings. Thanks
Oh & I was wondering if anyone knew any ceremony sites I could use around the area, maybe a beach or something (no churches as we are not very religious)

i think you should look at similar places, as those concerns are a big deal & exactly what we were worried about when we went there. i think you can get more for your money!
