Captain Bills Bayview House

Hello Ladies -
So we are going to look at the Bayview house on Thursday 3/23. I just wanted some feedback on the cocktail hour. It seems small to me, but perhaps I am mistaken. We are trying to have the cocktail hour in another room because the tent will not be up in the winter. They said that the cocktail hour would be in the same room as the recepetion and we did not like that :) Any feedback is appreciated.

I went to a wedding there 2 years ago, in aug though. Its a beautiful place. I dont know that I would like the cocktail hour in the same room as the reception. I also go there for a Fire dept dinner every other year....(FH is a fireman) its actually next month. Anyway why couldnt you do the cocktail hour in the other room they have??

Thanks for the quick reply. They said that they use the other rooms for parties with 200. But they said because I would be having the wedding in Nov it is their down time so the BM would check. Fingers crossed that they will let us because I do not like the idea of the cocktail hour in the same room.
