I'm trying to book my RD and I've heard that I should beware of the food at Captain Bills. I really want to book it there. Has anyone eaten there recently? Good? Bad?

i was there once - food was really good. i've heard great things about it - it's my one of my best friend's favorite restaurants.

I've eaten in the restaurant many times food is always good, never had any problems, my sisters friend had her weeding there, said the food was ok, I'd ask to do a food tasting b4 booking if your concerned, but I think it will be fine HTH

I actually went to a RD and a shower there last year. Both were buffet and both had different food. It was excellent. We are considering it for our RD as well.

I had my shower there and the food was great!! Plus, the place is so nice and its great to take pictures on the deck next to the water.

I was just at Captain Bill's for dinner about two weeks ago. The food was delicious, and actually I have to say it came out the hottest I have ever had at a restaurant - I had to let it cool a little before I could take a bite! I think you and your guests will be happy with everything there.

I eat there all the time and always LOVE the food!!
But, I must say that last time I was there one of their waitors (a teenager) spilled wine all over one of the customers and just stood there and watched this lady freak out and didnt try to help her. And I was amazed that a manager or anyone ever came over to see what all the commotion was, after a couple minutes they actually had to go hunt down a manager. Then I watched them clean up....I feel bad for whoever sat at that table next because they just wiped it down with a cloth!! You could still see spots of red wine they missed and the entire area smelled like wine.

My family always eats there for birthdays and other celebrations. It's really good seafood.

I attended MrsStefan's bridal shower there and it was VERY nice ! The food was delicious and the service was great ! It had a great view as well !

We have a lot of parties there, go there a lot - the food is great. We had my sister's shower there and the service could not have been better. Excellent choise. You won't be dissappointed.

That is one of my favorite restaurants..I love the food there, I actually ate there last night!
