Re: Captian Bill's Bayview house in bayshore?

my honest thoughts of captian bills...the food part and resturant, excellent. for a wedding, i didn't buy it for several reasons..

1. overpriced for offseason (only 1 price non negotionable) for what you are getting...

2. due to the party size, wanted cocktail hour and reception in the same room

3. banquet manager really didn't try to sell us. made it seem like we inconvienced her

thats what turned me off

i used to go to the resturant to eat a lot with my family and it was always great food & service & beautiful atmosphere. From pictures, the bayview house seems beautiful, don't know about pricing or anything else! Looks really nice though & I've heard nice things about it

Re: Captian Bill's Bayview house in bayshore?

I am getting married there in July. It was one of the most reasonable prices we could find. We are paying 85.00 a head for a Saturday night. I don't think that is too bad. I have seen a lot worse. the food is dleicious and the view is very nice. I would deal with Shannon if you go. She is very nice and helpful. Good luck. It you have any questions FM me. Good Luck

I went to a wedding there about a year and a half ago - food was excellent. The room is very large - simple but pretty decor. The CH room is on the water as well. Very pretty - was a bit chilly (October wedding). Prices there are very reasonable, IMO.
