so unfortunately the magnificently low quote i got with TSC direct is of no use because they require their drivers to have a liscence for 2 years before they can apply.
what car insurance is cheap and doesn't have that requirement?
(I only need minimun liability)

I have Geico, but I think you can do a comparison thing with Progressive, they give you rates of 3 diff places, so that might help too.

Geico - I've had them for years and never had a problem. In fact my rates just went down! My parents too!

My mom did that and it brought up no name companies so it may not be much help, but doesn't hurt to check it out.

I have Geico for almost 2 years now. I love them, I've had no problems with them at all. My insurance just went down this last year too

are you able to piggy back off of FH's insurance? that's what i'm doing, and our insurance is clear that i'm only driving one car, not his car. we only have liability on my car. it was cheaper than me seeking out my own insurance.

there is an insurance company that does give the best price...However, they are very strict. For example if anyone living in your house doesn't have a good record they won't give it to you. Ill fm you the info later when i get home. I had them with my last car and they gave me an amazing price...since they're strict though i wonder if they have the same policy about new drivers...ill check my papers
