Should I get Caramel filling or cookies and cream for FH in his grooms cake?? Which would be better? TIA! I love both...but I've never tried them as a filling for a cake.... I would also prob use it with yellow cake

Ive never tried white cake...is that good? lol Im not really a cake person- Im more of an icecream girl lol and have only really had yellow cakes lol

I personally like cookies & cream. It depends on your FH's personal preference. If he's a cookie guy, cookies and cream, or he prefers chocolates and sweets then caramel. I think caramel is better as an ice cream topping as well as coffee, it's usually best as for liquid stuff. For something dense like cake, it's too sticky.

yellow and white are pretty similar. . main difference is the use of egg yolks. . so sometimes yellow tastes a bit richer but overall close..
oh and I would vote caramel for sure. . and I don't know how your cake person makes it but when I have had it, it wasn't sticky like actual caramel but like caramel flavored buttercream. . yum!

Oops I meant white or yellow cake. They are very similar in taste. I think yellow is a little fluffier but overall same kind of cake.

I'd have to say go with what you think is Fh's absolute fav!!! Offer to bring him a treat home and give those options see which he chooses. That is what I did to Fh. He has no clue what I was really up to..lol
