Giselle, You think that thsi topic is inappropriate but you posted your ring on the show your ring thread.. My !!!

I believe what Giselle is saying is that posting the rings is one thing but asking the carat size is different.

But like Nina said, if you dont like it keep it moving. If someone is out spoken like myself or Stephanie, there will be a comment made.

That doesnt mean drama. That just means difference of opinion.

while it could get inappropriate. . .and it kind of is at this point

this thread was just about sharing. . .if i posted that my ring was a diamond chip on a peice of tin foil - i doubt any one would mock me

if i posted that my ring was a 12 carat behemoth i doubt anyone would come club me over the head for it. . .

just sharing hte details, i mean we all LOVE our rings - i wouldnt change mine one bit! i could talk about it all day. . .its not like i am going to post how much he spent or anything

IF you don't like it...or think its tacky, thats fine....

But then don't post one of these

There are many times when the is appropriate, and this is definitely one of them. I am glad that we are ALL allowed to express our opinions on this board, many people agree that this is a tacky topic, no offense intended to anyone who decided to answer the OP's question.

I have no problem with you & Id like to keep it that way, Obvisouly your on a hunt from last night to spark something here & thats cool, your outspoken & lord knows I am,,

I also posted a pic of FH , I was calling him my diamond, is that a no no too....

Dude! You must be losing it. I dont recall me trying to mess with you. If I dont agree with something that is my opinion. Many people have disagreed with my taste and I would never get upset about it. really there is no need for drama tone.

I for one if I wanted to have drama with you you would know it. If you check yoru posts from last night you will see I was answering with everyone else. Let me know if you need examples.

I have a question and a comment. When you first got engaged Ladies, how many people said 'How big is it' or 'What does it look like'?

Personally a lot of my friends and family did and I did not find it tacky or inappropriate. It is just something you do.

No one is saying 'Mine is bigger' or 'How much did it cost'. You can have a 4 ct ring and it could cost just as much as someone's 1ct. Bigger does not mean better.

I think we are just sharing, that is all and there is nothing wrong with it.
