those of you that got diamond bands, what was the price and carat weight?

so 2.6 carats (round diamonds) for like 2,500 bucks in platiunm is pretty good?
Honestly whether it is a good deal depends on the quality of the diamonds and not the size you can get a huge diamond for less than a small high quality one. What color, cut, clariety is it that makes as much of a difference as size makes.

Mine only has 1/4 ct and was about $500, platinum. It matches my e-ring exactly, so when I found it - we grabbed it!

Is it a 5-stone? An eternity band?
We paid $3500 for a 1.3 ctw 5-stone and it was through our private jeweler.

Carat size is not the only indication of a diamond's price. You can get a pretty awful large diamond for not a lot of $ - it will be big, but poor quality.

Band ring. Platinum; 7 round brilliant diamonds, carat total weight .56, color grade G, clarity grade VS. $3,150
it will be something like this..i cut and paste from the website, lol.
ETA: Where the diamond is from is a huge factor. I have a 2.03 carat e-ring that cost the same as a car b/c of the name and quality. I started with a flawless e-ring but ended up exchanging it b/c it was way too expensive. So now i have a vvs1 or vs1 whatever and I feel much better about the purchase.
