I feel uncomfortable with the concept of a 'card box'. It doesn't particularly bother me when other brides do it; I just don't like it for myself. I remember back in the day, the bride would walk from table to table with a satin drawstring bag and receive gifts that way, but I don't like that idea either. Can anyone think of alternatives? Many thanks!

I'm not sure what other options you have other than a bird cage or a bird house... walking about with 100 envelopes is crazy IMO --- how would you not lose that bag or find a bag big enough?

I felt the same way but i also didn't want to lose any envelopes. My card box is in my pics...i bought it from another bride and i thought it was a nice change from the gift boxes they sell. Not many alternatives if you don't like the old fashioned way.
