I was just wondering what you ladies will use. Both brides of the weddings I was in this summer had both a card box and one of those satin pouches and didn't use them. What do you plan on doing?
Does it freak you out to leave a box with all envelopes out behind the dais? There are some sketchy 'kids' that work at halls...hmmmm Maybe I'm just too paranoid lol

Re: Card Box vs. Card Pouch
I am having a card box. In the box we are putting a weight i it and the box will have a lock on it! Also it will be right next to my Dad, so no one will touch it! LOL

The pouch gets filled quickly they are not that big. Plus do you really want to carry cards around all night

Re: Card Box vs. Card Pouch
I am ordering one of these card boxes...Also from the reviews i have read on my DOC, she keeps an extra eye out on the envelopes as well.
It makes me nervous about envelopes going missing...I hate reading stories about it on here

Re: Card Box vs. Card Pouch
i'm doing the pouch. we're having a small wedding, so we want to go around and say hi to everyone. the weddings i went to this year, where there were card boxes, no one put their envelopes in them. they just gave them to the bride and groom when they left (and so did we).

i just had the card box - its in plain view of everyone and most of them are locked/sealed also i think you would notice if some random person walked out with it lol

Re: Card Box vs. Card Pouch
I like the idea of a cardbox, but my grandma is making me a money bag (satin pouch)
I might have both, I'll carry the bag around when I greet people I guess, then put the cards in a box when I get back to the dais
i will probably do a card box, the weight inside thing is a great idea but fh's dad said he is in charge of watching it, so he'll bodyguard our cardbox
