we made ours so that it would be very obvious if someone tried to get at the cards--the box would be destroyed.
Maybe I should make it like a Piggy Bank, so that the only way to get it open is to crack it with a hammer! At least someone would see someone carrying out the card box if it were big.

That's what we did too. Ours was completely encased in satin. It had to be cut open. I made it that way because I had heard so many girls had cards stolen from them at weddings in open boxes like birdcages.
