I had an etsy vendor make this, she's been wonderful!!!! She did it exactly the way I asked except for the rose petals that she found to edge it with. She loves them and says I will in person. Something just looks off to me. I don't know if it's the burnt orange ribbon not really matching the petals, or just the petals in general, or maybe the burnt orange ribbon isn't thick enough for the large bottom box. I'm supposed to send her the payment asap so she can send it out tomorrow. I don't want to insult her work because it really is great and I feel so lucky to have found her to do this for me so quickly but I'm just not sure what it is, any thoughts?!?!?!
****ALSO, the top bow isn't on there yet so don't pay attention to that***** It's just the orange that's throwing me off.

I think the orange ribbon is too dark for the flowers. Also, does the brown ribbon at the top match the brown fabric on the bottom?
And since there's no ribbon on the middle box, it might be throwing off your eyes or something.

Me too, I don't even know if it's possible to remove it at this point but which would you take out, the burnt orange ribbon on the bottom or the petals?

The browns dont match and neither do the oranges. you need something that is going to bring it all together. like some larger flowers with both browns and both oranges in them. you can put them on the higher tear. like 1 big and 2 small in the corner.
Hm I think that other than in the first pic with the way the light is, that in the others the browns look like they match, no? I think it's just the oranges that are throwing me off

If she could do this, it would be perfect
If anything the ribbon is probably just hot glued on there, so you should be able to make changes to it if you need to

Hmm yeah...something does not seem to look right. I don't think that the colors match..like I don't think the oranges match, and the browns don't.

I think it may be the real orangey color that's bothering me. Any burnt orange that we've used, like the ribbon on our invites (pics in album), are more of a muted, rich color, more of a rust. I think the orange petals and ribbon used look like pumpkin orange . I just messaged her about it. Any other ideas of how to fix it, without changing the entire thing????

So, if it's the petals pumpkin color, why not mix them with deeper orange ones and a few brown? To give it a mix and make the pumpkin colored ones seem like shots of brightness instead of the one noted brightness? And, I'd say either use a richer, matching ribbon or get rid of the ribbons altogether.

I look at this and what sticks out to me is the middle white layer and what looks like a pink beading or whatever that is on the white fabric. In person the orange and brown ribbon will probably go nice niceley with the fall flowers on the edging. that is if you were looking for the fall harvesty colors. Dont feel bad about insulting anyones work when it comes down to it - its a buiness transaction, you have to be happy with what your getting- do you really want to pay money for the box then get it and have to pay more to 'fix: it edit to say I think the orange ribbon is Ok but the Top brown ribbon should most definately match the bottom brown color

the browns most def match.
however what's throwing you off is the brown box on the bottom which does not have a pattern on the fabric against the 2 white boxes.
i bet if the bottom box was white and the ribbon still orange, it wouldn't be the orange you're looking at. from the 2nd pic, the orange ribbon def. matches with some of the flowers
