Is the bottom tier supposed to be brown? If there's supposed to be a brown tier, why not the middle one to give it a pattern? Then, why the ribbons? The petals are fine between the tiers. They don't have to match the petals, just needs to compliment, but the ribbons really don't right now.
I think that's what throwing me off too. I feel like the brown looks out of place
Same here for me. The brown sticks out to me more then the orange does.

Oh man now I'm torn because I love the brown bottom lol. I wrote her last night about it, fingers crossed for a solution

Hmmm, what if I have her add a brown ribbon around the edging bottom of the middle layer? To tie some brown in there.

I feel like its the white/ivory color that is really sticking out the most. It doesnt seem to match the theme of the box.

i feel like the ribbon on the boxes should all be the same color and that the rose petals should match the ribbon. hth!

Well the girl was extrememly nice about me wanting to change a few things. I showed her the rust-colored ribbon on our invites and she's going to try to find one to match that as opposed to the orange one currently one it. She confirmed with me that the brown ribbon on top and brown box below are the same color/fabric. I'm just not sure now if she gets the rust ribbon, will I not like the petals still since they look pretty orange.

my thoughts exactly. But she likes the brown bottom! ...soooo, maybe get rid of the white ones and get two more to compliment the brown and orange colors, since it's a Fall theme.

Jenna please don't hate me for saying this and I know you have had trouble finding someone to make you a cardbox but I don't love this. I'm sorry I've debated on whether or not to even repspond to this thread but as your friend I wanted to be honest with you. I've seen your invite and heard all about your fabulous fall wedding and to me this just isn't doing it for me.
I agree with the other girls about the brown box feeling out of place, but if you like it maybe you can make one other box tan and another an ivory so they tie in together better. The ribbons I think are fine and with the right color combo will compliment eachother nicely. The petals I would do withouth also. I think a pretty burnt orange rose or a few petals scattered would be much more simplistic and elegant than all those petals.
Please don't hate me for saying this, I just want to offer you my honest opinion.

I'm not upset at all guys, I appreciate everyones opinions so much!! I'm kind of getting to the point though of just not caring rather than telling her to change the entire thing, I don't know...I may ask for a rust colored ribbon on the brown bottom and then that same rust ribbon wrapped around the bottom of the second layer which ties those two layers together, then I'm hoping that the brown ribbon and bow on top will tie in with the brown bottom layer and maybe ill add some kind of rust accent on the bottom of that layer. Our invites are brown, white, and rust hence the white and no ivory or other color. I also made it this way because it will match our cake in a way which I can't really explain on here now but I think day of in pics it'll make sense, hopefully!!! , thanks again!!!
