I am curious to see those of you who have booked your Honeymoon already and where you are going? We are looking to do a Caribbean Honey moon as we have been to several places in the Caribbean and Love almost all of them! We are however having a hard time narrowing it down.
We have been to: Bahamas Barbados St Kitts British Virgin Islands St Marteen Dominca
We are looking into maybe Turks and Caicos, however it is REALLY expensive. Just curious as to where other brides may be going or may have went.

We are going to Aruba then flying over to St. Maarten. I have heard really good things about both places.

Turks and Caicos is beautiful, but in my opinion it tends to be a bit more family-oriented at most hotels there. We are going to Jamaica. Our wedding is during hurricane season (looks like yours is too, so be careful!), so we did some research and found that Jamaica generally doesn't get hit, so we chose a resort in Montego Bay.

Aruba is out of the hurricane belt also. We're not taking a honeymoon, but we went there last summer and had such a blast!

St Maarten is beautiful! you'll love it. Aruba was also another place we were considering.

I'm very biased to Aruba. I think it is a truly wonderful place and you never have to worry about the weather.

Thanks! I didn't even think about the Kids, we both love children but are definitely wanting some adult fun for our Honeymoon. I also didn't think about the dreaded Hurricane season, Jamaica was another place we were considering maybe in Negrils.

To a Sandals no but plenty of all inclusive resorts. Personally I wouldn't do it any other way :)

The first time we went we stayed at the Bucuti on a bungalow right on the beach. AMAZING and I would imagine perfect for a honeymoon, *but* a tad expensive. We wanted the experience lol. The second time we went we stayed at the Boardwalk, which I'm pretty sure is the smallest hotel on the island, and it was AWESOME! Much more affordable, like a mini apartment ( they only have like 13 rooms I believe). We had a kitchen and rented a car, went to the supermarket and made breakfast every morning. I'd guess for your honeymoon you don't want to be cooking breakfast and going food shopping, but it really was amazing. If you ever go ( not for your honeymoon) or go for your honeymoon and go back (which you will lol) I'd definitely recommend staying there. And renting a car!

Looked into Bucati and its Gorgeous! It is expensive but it is our Honeymoon so we want the works plus were kinda used to it. Lol

It is definitely worth it, and it is on one of the most beautiful beaches. It is away from all the big hotels/resorts so it's nice and quiet if you decide to go with Aruba and have any questions feel free to ask! Good luck, I'm sure wherever you end up going will be beautiful.

We did eat outside of the resort a lot too. That's what I loved about Aruba, it was safe to walk around at night. They have these little street shops that open up at night. It was the best time.

That sounds awesome! We stayed at a Rui before but it was in Mexico I loved the resort though. Will be looking into this one as well. Thanks for the info.

Caribbean Honeymoon?
We aren’t booked yet, but we are planning to go to Jamaica – probably Sandals Negril. We’ve talked to a lot of friends and family that have visited there and can’t wait to go! I’ve been to Barbados before (which was amazing), but my fiancé has never been to the Caribbean.
