He is pretty good, he wants $750 for four hours to draw my guests at our wedding, too much? i love caricature artists and really want this but i feel like $750 is a lot

How fun! $750 seems like a lot, but I honestly have no idea what they would normally go for. I say do it though - it's different and it's the kind of thing people will always remember from your day!

You should weigh the price against how many people he can do in an hour.

But I think it is a great idea.

I would worry about how much attention that would take away from the wedding...I've seen photobooths have huge lines at weddings and those take 3 minutes to do.
But $750 doesn't seem so bad for 4 hours...

I think $750 is awesome! We were quoted $700 for a photobooth and I think what you're considering is way more fun and unique.

that sounds like so much fun....

but depending on how detailed he/she is in their work, this could take up to like 30 mins for a picture.

I would ask how long each person would take & how many people can actually get done in 4 hours & see if it's worth it.

We found someone who charges $150 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. He can create one drawing every 7 minutes. I think that's pretty fast, but wouldn't really let that many guests take advantage of him being there.
