Carlyle

Has anyone heard anything good or bad about the Carlyle on the Green??? I want to look there but a friend told me the food wasn't good.

my cousin had her wedding there. it was ok. the cocktail hour was good, but everything else was ok. Nothing really over the top or fabulous

My cousin got married there August of 2002...it was such a beautiful place. The food was ok....their dessert was REALLY good!!

I got married there and had guests coming up to us all night raving about the food. I thought it was great, but I am bias since I was married there. But we are still hearing from guests how great it was.

I'm having my reception there - we tasted some of the food (hors d'ouevres) that was being served at a wedding while eating at the restaurant next door before booking - both were great (or else we wouldn't have booked there!). I have to say, though, that we liked the food brought to us from the wedding more than the food at the restaurant.
