Carlyle on the Green

Hi Girls,

Anyone using Carlyle on the Green? I visited over the weekend and LOVED it. Unfortunately it's a little out of our budget, so I'm trying to be creative to make it work. Any tips on negotiating, ways to save, etc?

Has anyone gone to a wedding there? What did you think?

SO Beautiful ! SO expensive !! - If you're willing to bend on the day of the week or time of year, Sundays are less expensive, as well as any time between Dec-Mar
Also, if you would consider getting married on a Holiday weekend - Check on a Thursday night where Friday is a holiday- Or a Sunday when Monday is a holiday -
Negotiating at these places usually doesn't get you TOO far if you're looking for a Saturday night !

We're having our reception there in just a few weeks! I was just there yesterday - every time I go I like it better. We've been very pleased so far - never been to a wedding there, but the food at our tasting was yummy...

The 100% best way to make them come down in price is to book a date that is within the next 7-8 months. The reason why this works is because most people book their wedding's 1 year out plus. So all halls are more willing to negotiate 8 months and less because it is just 'extra gravy' money for them.

I was able to get a Friday night for $100 a person, reduce the cost for the ceremony room AND get extras thrown in as well.
