I am booked there!! Check out Brett Matthews photography blog. They do a lot of weddings there and it is broken out by venue.

Any DJ recommendations ? Does anyone know the prices of the uplighting and the monogram on floor ?

my friend got married there and it was one of the best weddings i've been to- totally wouldve booked there myself but didn't want to copy her haha.. her DJ was satisfaction guaranteed and they were AMAZING. we wanted to book them but they were booked for our wedding date :( Best DJ at a wedding hands down

I think we're about to book our wedding there for October 2015. We've been to 24 venues and I think we've found our calling...just pricey. We've worked with Sue so I'm guessing we'd work with her as well. CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU! :)

Hi all. I recently booked our wedding at COTG as well. I'm stressing a little in regard to lighting. I didn't expect such an expense but with how big the room is, I feel that lighting would enhance the beauty it's beauty. I'm trying to get Bob from Brilliance down in price since I only want the smallest package (one color around the room the entire night). They literally have to dial in one color, turn them on, and leave. Wondering if anyone else has had experience with him. Or has done the lighting through their DJ. Bob is saying it won't look as good due to the wires needed around the room.

HI! My name is Laura. I just saw your post (haven't been on this in a while) and I see you're getting married a week before me at Carlyle! Congratulations!
How's all your planning going?

We were engaged last May (so we've had over a year already to plan and still another 14 months to plan even more.) How are you guys on planning? All we've done so far is get the venue and the DJ. We're taking our time.

But we know it'll fly. I'm from a beach town (Long Beach NY) and I'm dying to have a beach themed wedding. Do you guys know what vendors you're going to use?

We're paying for our wedding ourselves and we're already dying how pricey only the venue is. We figured we'd splurge on an awesome place. :) Any help and/or insight would be MUCH appreciated All the best to you!
